When I was in the USAF stationed in Guam, we actually drove down to the naval base to eat supper. They had a much better selection!
I was in the Army 8 years and never got ANY damn Lunchables ! Stupid ass MRE’s.
Not them good MRE’s either. We had dehydrated beef patties, pork patties, potato patties, fruit patties…. Everything was dehydrated except wieners and chicken ala snot. The only way to get full on dehydrated pork patty was to eat the packaging. Tasted better than the “food” anyway. They wouldn’t let us have any crayons either.

Dad always said in WW2 he was glad he was in the Navy because they had the best meals. I dunno about the Army Air Corp, I should have asked him. But maybe still being part of the army they got the same chow as the army?

Air Force cafeteria is ridiculous. They put slices of cakes on display racks everyday, that we can’t eat because we were still trainees, and then throw them all away at the end of the day because of some food safety rule.
My sister is in the Air Force and she said that they only have burgers😭

As a USAF vet, I can say that ours is wrong: there were no linen napkins and I didn’t see an after dinner chocolate.
As a former Airborne Infantryman in the Army (special ops) I have to say that the Navy chow was the best I have ever been served and eaten. Shoutout to the Presidio of Monterrey Navy messhall! Even the Navy supplied box lunches on air-drop missions were legendary.

You got to make fun of the Space force. That whole branch is such a lost opportunity, they could have made an offshoot of the Navy and then we would have space Marines. Now it just answers the question of what could be more derpy than the Air Force? The space force.
